Kashmir, the paradise on earth has been the subject of dispute between India and Pakistan since its independence. In 1948 Pandit Nehru, the then prime minister of India took the case to United Nation to get the solution to the dispute. The case is unsolved ever since!
Indian constitution has given Jammu and Kashmir a special status in 1949 under the article 370. It includes the power to have its own constitution, flag and autonomy over all matters excluding defense and foreign affairs. On 5th August 2019 the special status has been revoked by Indian government to make united India. Kashmir has always been the integral part of India, no doubt! but the suspension of article 370 will ensure from now, that there is only One Nation, One Flag and One Constitution. There are different views on the issue; some say Kashmir is bleeding due to the sudden revoke of article 370 while the others welcomed the government decision with open arms. I feel it’s a great move!
Suspension of article 370 has caused tensions and conflict in the valley. The international and Indian tourists, Amaranth pilgrims were sent back from the valley. India’s move on Kashmir was only condemned by neighbor Pakistan. Its definitely an internal affair of India but Pakistan is trying to make it Global issue! Better luck next time!
Politics apart, well! I am going to take you to the other side of Kashmir which is a true paradise on earth. There is a Kashmir beyond Article 370 and let’s explore! Some places are traveled and some are explored, but the valley of Kashmir must be felt. Here, I am with must do and must travel places in Kashmir.
